Terme dei Papi are the oldest baths in the city of Viterbo. These thermal waters were already appreciated in ancient times and owe their name Terme dei Papi, to the fact that Pope Nicholas V loved their beneficial properties so much that he built a building that took the name of Bagno del Papa.<\/p>\n<p>Even today these spas are the most famous in the city of Viterbo and in the Lazio region, known for the properties of the water and for the extraordinary beneficial effects.<\/p>\n<p>A large monumental thermal pool, over 2000sqm, with water coming from the bullicame thermal spring, a natural cave for the Turkish bath, where cascades of thermal water at 58 \u00b0 C gush out, creating a humid environment rich in steam.
