Just outside of Pitigliano, the Church of Santa Maria Assunta was built in the second half of the 19th century.

Very simple in appearance, it has a gabled roof and a large entrance portal surmounted by a round arch in Neo-Romantic style. Inside is a painting depicting the Madonna. The facade ends at the top, towards the roof, with a triangular tympanum. A neo-Romanesque bell tower is also part of the church.

Inside, the church has only one aisle.
