It is a historical re-enactment with significant characters and events from the Renaissance period, the ideal opportunity to combine history and fun in an absolutely unique festival!

For three days Pitigliano goes back in time, once again a Renaissance village, parades in period costumes and many events linked to ancient traditions meet through the streets of the village.

During the County Festival, the Palio dei Rioni also takes place during which the four historic districts of Pitigliano compete against each other: Capisotto, Fratta, Borgonuovo and Capisopra, the winner will be awarded the coveted Palio.

Every day you will find the County Market, the Hostaria del Viandante, the historical procession in Renaissance costumes, entertainment with jugglers, jesters, music, archers and dancers.

Every evening, the Banquet of the Count, in honor of Count Niccolò III Orsini, inside the Palazzo Orsini in Pitigliano, a traditional Renaissance-style banquet.
